These lamps are ideal if a constant light output is desirable over a range of voltages, they are also suitable for 24V systems. The LED's will also have a longer life due to a constant voltage provided by the built in regulation.

These lamps are ideal where there is a possibility of components coming into contact with other conductive (metal) items. The LEDM1121 will fit a GU4 base and many G4 bases and will replace most MR11 spot bulbs.

Suitable for replacement of most conventional MR11 and MR16 bulbs, however the LEDM1110 does not have a glass lens and is therefore not suitable for fittings that have metal clips that could short out on the components. NOTE LEDM1610 onwards is the MR16 GU5.3 bulb. The LEDM1618 does not have a glass front.

Please note, all above details are for guidance only. Actual consumption will vary slightly from one lamp to another. Replacement figures are a suggestion and not a definitive comparison of light output. The actual way that light disperses from a conventional filament bulb, a Halogen bulb and an LED array are quite different. If used with lenses deflectors or diffusers, the differences are not so pronounced.

Looking directly at a Halogen 10W bulb will appear far more intense than a replacement LED bulb, the amount of light produced in a room is however comparable. This is partly due to the single light source from the halogen i.e. the filament and the multiple output from a collection of LED's. The angle of light output is also an important factor.
